Kings Park
Another underrated beautiful park in the Southside, especially lovely at this time of year. We had lunch in the walled garden admiring the cherry blossom.
S had positioned the walk as “ bluebells, hopefully”. There were quite a number of Spanish and native Castlemilk woods, they will be more impressive in a couple of weeks.
We went our separate ways at Queens Park and I went to look for the recently arrived coot chicks. On this occasion they were tucked in the nest, one of which seems very close to the path. I hope they don’t regret their choice of site.
Catch up with number 2 son who was on his way to a dragon egg hunt en famille. They subsequently found five. Number 1 son and family plus Granny Peebles have arrived in the Lakes where I’ll join them tomorrow.
