First Fell

I left Glasgow just after six and was in Lorton, near Cockermouth in jig time for breakfast with the cousins, Granny Peebles, son number 1 and Liv. L and Leo managed an early morning nap and by midday we began our slow ascent of Low Fell.
It was stunningly beautiful and fortified by a picnic lunch, my chocolate nests (which melted) and an assortment of snacks Liv completed her first Wainwright.
Crispy lasagne for supper and the second of R’s birthday cakes for pudding.
