Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

When JR returned home this morning after her gym (not a 'night on the tiles' as it sounds like...) I drove along to the light shop and returned the non-dimmable light. No problem.

Once Archie had gone off with Elizabeth, we set off across the Meadows for lunch at Soderberg.. We've been meaning to go there for absolutely ages. They've got three venues in the Quartermile area. We shared a pizza and a salad, and it was scrumptious. There was a freezing cold breeze coming across the Meadows, but once we were in behind glass, in the sunshine, it felt like summer. Soderberg are also in London.

Walking back under the blossom was lovely. Everybody posing, trying to get the perfect shot. There was even some blue sky, but the woolly hats, scarves and coats gave the show away...

JR popped into town to deposit the coffee pods in her favourite shop - John Lewis, I settled down at home in the afternoon, only 5,775 steps, but I was stuffed. (JR did over 16,000!!) And I did not doze! Instead, I started watching Black Snow, an Aussie drama. I managed four episodes before the others came home. But tonight we'll continue watching 'This City is Ours' - it's very good.
