A walk along Hope Valley - in spite of a road works sign (I couldn’t stop and photograph) stating “No access to Hope”. 
The extra pictures are of the Derwent Reservoir … where they practiced dropping the bouncing bomb (aka the dam busters) which we celebrate for its heroism - but was actually a war crime.  Detaching oneself from the horror, it’s a fascinating piece of physics and it must  have been an amazing sight seeing a Lancaster bomber flying so low over the reservoir.
