Not the Pie Dolly...

... But the White Cottage baking bothy sausage rolls are a pretty good substitute.

The first community market was on today in Tain so we toddled along and met most of our Tain friends who chose exactly the same window to visit the market. We purchased sausage rolls which were excellent and resisted the sweet baked goods. Not quite the same as the Pie Dolly, but then her wares are not available this weekend anyway as she's getting married. 

The rest of the day was pretty slow.... Probably understandable given the fun evening we'd had. A popped by after breakfast for some lost property which he'd left behind.... Nothing embarrassing. Just his phone and his glasses.

After lunch, we took some empty compost bags round to N and A's to pick up some of their wood chippings - the by product of having some trees (legally) felled last year. I did a bit more weeding and put the chippings down in part of the side garden (see extra). It looks very neat and should help to combat the worst of the weeds. I estimate we will need a few more bags of chippings to see us through.
