Ain’t He/She Cute?

Busy day, as always. Our sprinkler guy was here at 8:00 to turn our system back on. I planted my lettuce, carrots, beets, cilantro and yellow squash. We’ll see how much comes up. Also planted the three lantana in the well head garden. Hubby finished weed eating and trimmed around gardens. We made a quick sandwich. It was time to feed the pets. Hubby went with me. Thought I’d show you what we’ve been visiting this week. It’s so ugly that it is cute. I stayed and visited with Shadow. Unfortunately, it made him late for getting to church to help put everything back together. He says it is beautiful. We won’t get to attend Mass there for several weeks. We are going to an Easter sunrise Mass tomorrow; Hubby is in the Knights’ color corps. Then we’ll be in NC or WV for two Masses. Hubby put down Weed and Feed after cutting grass in the formal garden. I finished my shopping and have everything gathered and ready to hand off to my sister after breakfast at Jamie’s. She and our BIL can pack the food I am bringing with theirs to get the most efficient space usage. We will be in their truck for the ride to WV early Monday. I’ve washed laundry, made scones for tomorrow’s breakfast plus a pan for Kim and have a blueberry/cranberry sour cream breakfast cake in the oven. I am cutting it in half for our girls; my sister is making one to bring to breakfast. Will be happy when the last dish is washed. It’s past nap time! Wishing everyone a Blessed Easter. Stay safe.
