Piz Bernina

A change of plan this morning and we ended up walking up the Roseg Tal.

Right up to the glaciers at the end. It involved a bit of scrambling for me, which I'm not that keen on, but it all worked out well in the end. 8 hours in the countryside with no traffic apart from cows, horse drawn carriages and the occasional thoughtless cyclist.

I should clarify that last bit.

Most cyclists are fine. Really. Just occasionally one or two seem to mistake my personal space for their own. And thrilling as it may be to be close to me, I really wouldn't mind if they used the other half of the track to speed past me on their way to sweating copiously into their lycra. I don't get off on that kind of reek.

Went out for dinner tonight and ate Raclette. More cheese than you could shake sticks at. I feel like I look like a walrus.
