Two of us had a lie in this morning.  One reading a book and one reading on her phone.  When we were finally dressed there where flash hot cross buns brought down from Auckland.  They have custard crosses on top.  They were delicous and had real peel and more texture than supermarket ones.  TLD didn't want to be in the blip but she is in the background photos with her brother :-) 
The rain is really pouring down now and the estuary has disappeared from view.  I am going to find something to watch and knit.
