On Some Days

Forever Autumn . . . Justin Hayward

Today the local Riding For The Disabled had a fund raiser which was a tour of Silvan Gardens to see the autumn colours.  The two properties are neighbours.  Mr Griffin owner of the garden has formed a large lake and planted a variety of trees around it with winding paths and seats.  It was an overcast day but calm and it was a treat to walk under mature trees.
The extra is Rocky one of the horses near were we parked the car.  Sometimes the forester buys pony poo from here.  Maybe Rocky has contributed to the grow of our vegetables.
Next we went out to Wakefield for a meat pie.  The bakery there is consistently excellent.  I had liver and bacon with mash potatoe top and he had steak and Kidney.
