Super Nova!

The morning held a delightful bike ride with the delightful Janet, who got on her bike for the first time this year! A gentle 20km loop and back for lunch.

In the afternoon I prescribed a book read snooze. And after that while Janet was gardening, I took advantage of some of the splendid stuff she has coming up in the beds.

The main is a tulip which reminded me of a super nova, while in the extra the first giant anemone popped up in such a vibrant purple it was almost ultra violent!

Although we don't get Bank Holidays any more I am struggling to work out what day it is. Possibly that's down to the Armagnac that Janet smuggled into the chocolate cake we had after lunch.
