The greening

This is the view from my kitchen window. It seems to have happened very rapidly this year. The white car and the passers by will soon be invisible.
     I'm stuck indoors today waiting on a plumber. The painters are also creeping round the building and the bird feeders will have to come down for a short while.  In fact it might be a good while as the window frame will have wet paint.
     My daughter phoned yesterday to say that her granddad, my FIL has passed away. While it was expected, it's another thing to cope with.
