Blossom

Here’s a William Blake poem written in 1789 about Blossom:

Merry, merry sparrow!
Under leaves so green
A happy blossom
Sees you, swift as arrow,
Seek your cradle narrow,
Near my bosom.
Pretty, pretty robin!
Under leaves so green
A happy blossom
Hears you sobbing, sobbing,
Pretty, pretty robin,
Near my bosom.

Blipped this on my morning walk. I thought the weather would stay nice all day, but it’s gone a bit grey now, and threatening rain.

I managed to get some additional steps in when Martin and I took Rory on his lunchtime walk. It’s his 7th birthday today (see extra).

Hope you’re having a good Easter Monday.
