A Meandering Life...

Mono Monday 587 :: MM587 :: Reclaimed

This is my mini garden within my garden, it is my alpine garden. It started some years ago in just one terracotta pot that was broken. That pot is still there and the alpines are spilling over and growing on the patio now.

The main features to this arrangement are the reclaimed sinks. A large Butler sink was reclaimed from a local stables, they had been using it as a watering trough. Next is the hand basin taken out of our shower room. The newest was bought to go into my camper van when I remodelled the bathroom but ended up as another pot for alpines.

The only ones to be flowering at the moment are the Arenaria montana 'Summer White'. This should not be flowering yet but has been for a month or so.

Others include Lewisia cotyledon, Delosperma 'Suntropics Red', Arabis 'Rose Delight' and many sempervivums.
