Route 74
All afternoon yesterday I was hankering after a mini-egg ice cream from the Jersey farm. It didn't really work out yesterday with the other jobs, so I promised myself a bike ride and an ice cream before the rain came in today.
After speaking with mum and P who both moaned about no one buying them an easter egg I popped into Sainsburys to get P an egg (you've got one coming in the post mum!) and then went to the farm. It was still pretty early on a bank holiday morning so it was pretty deserted as I ate my ice cream on the bench.
On the way home I thought I'd try the route I meant to do on the last bank holiday in reverse and took a little road to Stonehouse. There where some cracking views and definitley better to do it from the Strathaven end as I got some fun hills too. I was enjoying the downhill too much to blip, so got this one instead of my bike and the empty road.
Rest of the day has been a few jobs, straightening up the house in preparation for the warrior women arriving this weekend and that sort of thing. Back to work tomorrow.
