Starling
Glorious weather has meant a day of jobs in the garden.
Job one: weeding the veg bed after the realisation that white plastic fabric does not in fact act as a weed suppressent membrane.
Job two: planting the spuds
Job three: more weeding of the other veg beds where the fake graa had done a better job of supressing weeds
Job four: plant onions
Job five: plant courgettes
Job six: cover back up the bits of ground with things not planted in actual weed suppressant fabric
Job seven: continue the seperating of the gravel pile into white gravel and slate.
Quick stop in the middle to nip to tesco and get some horrid cheap cider for some slug traps.
This starling was haning around in the tree and didn't seem bothered by the toing and froing, I loved the colours and watching them sing.
