Camp

It’s been gorgeous sunny summer for 6 weeks and wouldn’t you know it’d be raining the first day of Grandchildren camp! No matter. Everyone was happy. Once we got them out of bed (the 3 insist on sleeping together on a crowded sleeping porch) and away from their ipods we donned our rain jackets and had a lovely walk, shedding clothing as we went and the day got warmer and brighter. Much boating in the afternoon. I’m happy to say that Belle, my dory, is repaired for the time being and even happier that Niklas wants to row it. Eric and Oskar tried out the sailing dinghy without much breeze, but Eric got a bit more wind later on....and the dinghy with the electric motor followed him around. There was a trip for ice cream, a fine dinner and much horsing around....and noise.
For the record the blip is the family pix. Son Eric and Anne leave tomorrow so it will be the 2 of us and these 3 monkeys til next weekend.
