They reached the summit

At 7.30 this am we received this picture and the message “We made it. More later. Love to all xx” 
Such a relief to hear the news.

The day was punctuated by short events. Collecting Olive for day care, then a pneumonia jab at the GP practice and finally a trip to the leisure centre. I got a space on the settee to do my knitting tonight, so was comfortable and productive. 

My only concern is the injection site in my left arm. Within a couple of hours it was swollen, red and hot !! I don’t think that this is going to be a pleasant experience!!!
