A well earned pint

The ladies have had two very long days to walk from base camp. They were at 5500m and are now down to1400m and elated at their achievement. 

I’ve had a lousy night with the pain in my arm and the swelling. I’m not sure if it’s an allergic reaction or what. I rang the GP and got an appointment this morning. A new GP for me, who was very good, I felt comfortable with him. He prescribed antibiotics and antihistamines.

I’ve slept off and on most of the rest of the day, so here’s hoping for a better night.
