Mt. Crichton, Queenstown

Hving decided to meet up with one of my sons, who was working near Queenstown, we drove over there this morning, and spent some considerable time finding him. Out on a photo shoot with a team from Auckland, they were way in the back of beyond, literally at the foot of Mt Crichton. This is one of the most beautiful mountains in the Queenstown area, so it was worth searching them out, even though it involved more 4WD-ing!

We're spending the night in Wanaka, and are about to go out for dinner with the Auckland Film Crew - should be fun; they're a great team. This particular son has worked as a cameraman since the week after he left school, and that was many moons ago. He's since filmed all over the world and has visited some wonderful far flung places. He must be an adventurer - I wonder where he gets that from!
