Morning Out

Little Man and I went into Utrecht this morning. We needed to do some shopping, to get things we can't order online. I also needed to go into the Vodafone shop to find out why I wasn't able to see why my phone plan wasn't showing up on the app. They needed to email me a code to create an account. When I did that, I was able to see my phone plan.

We had a lovely time whilst we were out. I decided to head to Bodegraven earlier than I'd planned, so that Little Man could get some play time at the park near the station. We discovered the park when we last came through Bodegraven at the start of April (see that photo here). We weren't able to go home via Woerden as two of the lifts are closed for refurbishment. The station has four lifts, one at each station entrance and one each for the platforms. I didn't fancy carting Little Man's pushchair and the shopping up a flight of stairs.

Little Man was thrilled about being able to play at the park for an hour and he enjoyed the train and bus rides. He's been playing outside quite a bit this afternoon, for which I'm pretty glad about as it means I can put the shopping away (the food shop arrived after we got home) and get a wash on.

It's Earth Day today. Maybe we'll be able to slow down the damage we're doing to the planet by doing what we can to reduce what we're putting into landfills and the air. I'm still using my reusable coffee cups and shopping bags, so that I'm not using single use cups and bags. Hope I can do more.
