Home To the Kids...Happy Earth Day!...

Mom Red-bellied woodpecker at the Bark Butter feeder. Eating  a little, grabbing  a large beak full, then flying off to feed her chicks. She and the Dad take turns. I'm guessing that their nest must be fairly close by. A male Brown-headed Cowbird watches. They come for the seeds and aren't interested in the higher-priced spread. Thank goodness! m
