Sally Mair - Loving life

This is today's picture, no choice as it's the only one I took!
Thanks for the sympathy for my disturbed night the other night. I decided that last night I needed to sleep so took a Nytol, it worked but I felt as if I'd been hit with a sledge hammer till about 11 this morning. ...I only took a half dose too.
I messed around doing household tasks before heading off to the charity shop, that's where my blip came from. I can never resist a puffin. This one is on ceramic on an aluminium trinket box and was made in India, it's a fair trade product. Thank you Google lens. The artist is Meg Hawkins.
When I got back from the shop this afternoon I got on with one of the more urgent things on my to do list. I am helping once again at the children's nearly new sale at Polwarth on Friday and Saturday and I have some things to sell too. I needed to do all the paperwork to get ready for that. It took me the best part of two hours but it's done and hopefully I can add to the items too. Friday is going to be impossible and tomorrow is almost full already.
I found out yesterday that I'm taking the service again tomorrow, I had next week in my diary. This is the week when many clergy take some time off after Easter, I often wonder what we would do if there was a major event during low week. The laity would get on with it most likely, with the help of all the retired clergy still at home.
I don't feel as well prepared as I did last week and I need to check the readings and write some prayers now, so may not get back to blip tonight, on the other hand I may be wide awake at 3am. Lol.
