Hot Geums

A quick trip into Ludlow this morning to get paint for the next stage in my garden bench restoration project. We then had a quick six mile walk in the Mortimer Forest, up to Climbing Jack to see how the bluebells are coming along. That would have been my blip for today but they weren't ready yet. My blip today is my bed of Geums. When we arrived here last year there were Geums scattered around the gardens in various places. I brought them altogether into one bed alongside the brick wall that the long greenhouse sits on. This year I'll be adding yellow and orange California poppies to make it really 'hot'.
