Apple Blossoms
We’ve had quite a lazy day. My sister and BIL spent the morning checking their property. They always need a project. Of course, I won’t wander far. We saw a huge bear on their camera. Sugar and I checked out the front lawn several times. She has to investigate what wild animals have been “trespassing.” And somehow she knows it’s asparagus season. I was literally pulled to their now empty asparagus bed so she could search. While we were exploring, I noticed the apple tree Kim gave my sister is laden with blooms. The sky was gray but I think the photo is still pretty. Later, I prepared the burger and veggies for spaghetti sauce for dinner. Hubby decided to ride his e-bike: he traveled seven miles. I think he enjoys a little quiet time at home once in a while - don’t we all. He finds tons of jobs to do but he can enjoy some leisure time as well. He’s going to Parker’s lacrosse game tonight. They won their last game by many points. We had more of my sister’s pasta fagioli soup for lunch; it was perfect for the cool damp day. My sister is still really sick. Whatever she has won’t go away. We are at urgent care in town to hopefully get stronger meds to kill whatever germs she has. For once, we don’t have a grocery list so this will be a quick trip. Maybe she will go home and actually rest her body. Wishing you ample time to rest. Stay safe. Thanks for visiting. “What if you have seen it before, ten thousand times over? An apple tree in full blossom is like a message, sent fresh from heaven to earth, of purity and beauty.” - Henry Ward Beecher
