Lovely sunny day again.
I’ve been expecting a delivery since last Friday when the seller told me they had sent it to the courier. I’d heard nothing else but wasn’t too bothered- Easter weekend etc. I decided to check the courier’s website this morning to discover it had been delivered to my neighbour on Saturday, so I popped round to collect it. Apparently the delivery man said he had put a note through my door - no he hadn’t! A bit frustrating as I could have got on with sorting it out yesterday.
Caught the bus to the station, and then the train to Belper to meet Su. We had a pleasant look around the town ( some nice independent clothes shops), a delicious lunch and a browse in the big antiques warehouse . I bought a stoneware bottle for my garden. Unfortunately I left my phone at home so no photos. This is a camassia in flower in my garden. I love them.
