Upholstery start d again this morning. I cut out the top cloth and wadding for the seat back, and then marked up the positions for the buttons. I soon realised they were in the wrong place on the pattern and it took me a while to work out the correct placement. Once i’d done that there wasn't enough time to get all the butting done in the session, and I realised that the tailor’s chalk would rub off if I left it on the cloth for a week, so I decided to work on the arms instead. I got one finished and the other one halfway.
Came home via the garden centre to drop off plant pits for recycling, and The Range to make a final selection of some garden furniture. Had my main meal when I got home and tried to order the furniture, but couldn’t find a delivery option where I can specify the day. Had to email them.
Did some tying up of clematis etc in the garden, had a shower and set off for Bridge. The traffic was really heavy - apparently Torvill and Dean were dancing at the Arena on their farewell tour. Just made it in time- and we won!
