The Feast Day of St George.

Some people on Facebook explained that St George's Day is being celebrated on Monday 28th April this year because of 23rd April being in the Easter time of the Christian Calendar.

Today I have been busy doing housework, reading, washing and drying clothes and I went to buy a copy of The People's Friend and I newspaper.

Paul mowed the lawn and scarified the back lawn. Blackbirds are singing and the cats are napping.
It is currently very cold and not raining. The strong breeze is gently moving the abundant pink cherry blossoms. Pink petals cover the front lawn, in an artistic design.
I was glad to see the first orange Calendula open today.
