The Way; it is Milky

Busy one today. However, I got through a chunk more of The Player of Games on the train in the morning. It is proving to be a most excellent book. Before getting on the train I got a few good pics of a common mynah (at the top of my 'birds' set), and before boarding my evening train I took this reflection of the setting sun which I rather like - not least because it involved messing about with my Pentax 50mm.

At home, after dinner and kid wrangling, as well as this Milky Way (worth a bigger look) I took a few shots of the Southern Cross and the Coalsack Nebula - even with added dotted line which amused me (I saw it coming so took extra pics).
