Ems Spring

Along the banks of the River Ems the trees and vegetation are looking vibrant, lush and alive today,  Underfoot it was rather muddy but nothing my wellies couldn't cope with.  I have tried to capture the stillness and calm, knowing all the while that nature is furtively bursting with the energy of new growth and new life. 

In the extras I have included some wild water Crowfoot, found in slow streams, lakes and ponds. The flower is really delicate and small.
