Wide Wednesday: Life

We spotted this piece of graffiti (in the underpass near the house we lived in when we first moved down here) while we were out walking this afternoon. 

I’d like to think that the misspelling was deliberate, in order to illustrate the point!

Shakespeare, who was born on this, St George’s Day, said much the same, although rather more eloquently:

“The time of life is short! / To spend that shortness basely were too long”

One we’d dropped Sophie at school, I’m not sure I took much notice of his advice today, other than baking a batch of bread for the first time in weeks and general faffing around the house.
