Down Low

I waxed two or three things on the lathe and made a very small square 'dish' ... just because I wanted to see if I could without it disappearing or breaking.

It was another trip to Winchburgh for a charity pick-up ..... and to retrieve my wallet. 

When we got home SWMBO got a very unexpected message -- one of her step brothers had died in his sleep. He was a lovely guy and I have no idea how his wife is going to cope - she lost her mother a couple of weeks ago.

I did a spot of weeding in the afternoon - on my hands and knees.
I am suffering for it now.
While I was down there I took some pictures of a water drop on one of the many 'Lady's Mantle' plants (as you can see).

The pattern on the top is a single spiral, not a series of rings.

The extra is a shot of SWMBO in the jumper she has just finished. She started it just before her stroke and had not felt like continuing until a short time ago.
She has lost a fair bit of weight since she started it.
