Chulilla
It was back to blue skies and sunshine today, so Mr P and I decided to go for a day trip. Even though we’ve been visiting Valencia pretty regularly for the last 7 years, we’ve not really explored the local towns and villages. We made the most of having a car this time and visited Chulilla, considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in the Valencian community (less than an hour’s drive from the city). It didn’t disappoint. It was really stunning. We walked up to the Castle and then walked the Hanging Bridges route (baking hot and loads of steps). We’d planned to go for a swim in the Charco Azul (Blue Pool) and it looked very inviting, but I couldn’t face more steps up and down. Next time!
