Ragged robin

This little robin has been flitting around lately, looking a little tattered. He’s taken to sitting on the finial on top of the bird table and checking out the garden, but he doesn’t stay long and I have to be quick to get a photo.

He’s not the only one that’s a bit ragged. I’m feeling quite weary after a busy day getting ready to go to the Lakes. Smithers and I find it hard going away; we’re both very much home lovers and don’t find it easy to leave it, even though we’re going to a place we have loved for many years, and it’s only for two weeks!
