Flowering cherry trees - I love my garden

The cherry blossom is particularly good this year.  I could not resist the blip. 

I spent a frustrating morning to and frow from Tesco - for brownie ingredients; then battery for the scales; then figuring out recipe conversion from grams to cups as it was the scales rather than the battery that was at fault.

Finally a tasty tray-bake of brownies made. Worth the effort. 

The evening we went to see Eastern Angles play of Sophia, an excellent production about Sophia Duleep Singh, an Indian princess activist and suffragette. We learned a lot and I came away determined to learn more.
