Blossom time
The cherry blossom continues to impress. Some petals flutter like pink snowflakes in the air but the blooms are fulsome just now. These are at the west entrance of our church.
Church continued to feature heavily today with a visit after a routine check up at the dentist, followed end by emails!
I n the evening with a colleague I visited Inverleith St Serf’s to the north of the city to see their chair layout in their sanctuary. It was interesting to learn that they have never had pews: they decided they could not afford them. So have always had chairs, most recently renewed 15 years ago.
We were shown a drawing by the architect of what he imagined the church would look like - and it had pews in the drawing but they were never introduced.
