Silverware

A full on “church” day with admin, papers and visits (2 hours with an experts from the central office on architecture and pews: their advice / consent is needed if we change the layout. Lots of other advice on heating and church use.

I also took time with our church manager to look out some of the communion silverware from the time when a former elder - Rev Dr John Ross - would have been present in the congregation. I’ve mentioned previously that he was the first person to translate the New Testament into Korean at the end of the 19th century. We are to be visited soon by some senior representatives of the Presbyterian Church in Korea.
