A beautiful day…

for a walk to the loch. Haven’t been here for a while, a fact commented upon by the farmer I met! He had just collected a triplet lamb, the mother could only really cope with two. Skylarks were singing everywhere and Willow Warblers in the trees. As I reached the loch, the Sea Eagle flew off. Found evidence of one meal, Canada Goose feathers and a well cleaned carcase. The Wheatears were in their usual location by the gate and the Lapwings in the open land. Heard but didn’t see a Golden Plover too!
