Lonmay School

Which has been closed for around half a century and has long been a private house. The little belfry gives it a distinctly ecclesiastical look.
Interestingly, Bellman's Croft is situated nearby. I gather that the bellman was a rural town crier whose job would have been to walk round the parish ringing a hand bell to announce events such as deaths and news items.
