London

We had a 4 am start this morning to catch our 6.10 Eurostar train back to St Pancras. The trains were both on time and we arrived back to a sunny London. We tried leaving our heavy bags in King's Cross but refused to pay £30 for the service! After lugging them on and off the Underground, we left them in the V&A for half of that fee. 
I wanted to visit the V&A to see the beautiful café that I've seen on Instagram. It really was lovely but the building itself was also lovely. We had lunch, quiche and salad, and then walked around the clothing display.  Chris and I are not really into museums so we then headed out to walk around the parks. As we were tired, we decided to get bikes instead but hired e-bikes by mistake which I did not like at all. We cycled around the outside of Regent's and Kensington Parks and then went back to the museum for a cuppa before going to Euston for our train home. 
We had a lovely break in Amsterdam sandwiched between two visits to London.
