Rustling In The Reeds
A rustle in the reeds, followed by a flap of wings and, looking up, I spotted a green heron. First time this year and always great to see. Larger than most birds and not as flighty, consequently it's easier to photograph. The only challenge can be finding an unobstructed view through the branches.
Extra: Darting About. A palm warbler, unlike other warblers is a ground feeder. Only one skeptical sighting before now.
