Eiders

On my way across to the market I noticed much eider activity on the water - mostly males circling round displaying to each other as they were on Inchcolm, but here were a few females, one of whom seemed seriously to be investigating the discarded Xmas tree as a nest site. Compare to the nests I put as extras in yesterdays blip, it doesn't look suitable at all. I can imagine her pal there saying "Leave it, Mildred, it'll never work!"

Of course the males were still sounding like a convention of Frankie Howerds.....
