A Day Worth Recording

Training

It's towards the end of our guest's 40th birthday week of celebration and today a number of friends and children arrived.  They'd asked in advance if the train could be run so yesterday and today involved a bit of clearing of the 'leaves on the line'.

We managed a couple of runs with everyone around.  One young lad asked politely if he could have a go.  So, after everyone else had dispersed (otherwise there would have been a less than orderly queue, and probably tantrums) he and his Mum returned and he was shown the controls.

I continued to be impressed with the lad; speed and slowness where it was appropriate - rare for the average 10? year old in my experience.  It allowed me to take a couple of pictures while he had complete control.
