A gorgeous day in London

London in the sunshine can be quite a treat, can’t it?

We had a lovely brunch on the way into town and then I dropped Niki and Ali at the Tate while I went off to meet Gillian, an ex-MM colleague. We walked and walked the South Bank ending on Tower Bridge and then back to the Tate. Lovely to catch up. Then met again with Niki and Ali and some other friends for more bumbling around town. Lunch at Borough Market including the most epic creme brûlée doughnut.

Back to the apartment to cook the obligatory pre-marathon pasta and watch the pre-marathon sob fest on the BBC.

Good to go! Can’t wait to watch 57,000 heroes out there tomorrow!
