Arching About

Mike and the grandkids at the Orada Convent, where we'd hoped to catch a string quartet, but it was over by the time we'd finished our meal at Amigos de Monsaraz, as no-one would serve us before seven. Oh well.

Parents were off at our local hotel, Herdade dos Delgados (some good views of our area), celebrating their twelfth wedding anniversary, now walking home under a starlit sky. Hope to have laptop off before they arrive.

Gratefuls:
- getting to the market this morning; Maria gifting us strawberries
- Mike finishing the holm oak chopping boards he's made with the kids; soaking in olive oil now
- all our meals alfresco today
