Who’s Been Talking

A different sort of evenings entertainment tonight. Guenther Steiner - ex Haas F1Team Principal and “star” of the Netflix series “Drive to Survive” - was in conversation at Kendal Leisure Centre of all places!
A most entertaining couple of hours covering Guenther’s career in motorsport. Lots of interesting anecdotes and insights into the trials and tribulations of running an F1 team.
And the choice of Kendal as a venue was perhaps not so unusual after all. Twenty five years ago, Guenther worked for the M-Sport Ford WRC team, which was then based in Cockermouth, and he lived in Keswick for a few years. As the interviewer (and ghost writer of his book) said, he is practically an honorary Cumbrian!
