Careful With That Axe Eugene

As the poster says, tonight was the last chance to see the restored “Pink Floyd at Pompeii MCMLXXII” film on the big screen. So that’s exactly what we did.
The last time I watched it, it was a VHS copy where the colour was totally washed out and the sound was as bad as you might expect when heard through an old style tv speaker!
How nice to sit in a comfortable seat, watching on a big screen and hearing crisp and clear surround sound. Only in the small cinema at the Brewery Arts Centre, but it would seem there were plenty of other people who wanted to see it as the place was full.
Thankfully, it’s not a long film, so we were back home by 9.30. Which was much appreciated as this was our third night out on the bounce.
A night in tomorrow and then three further nights out on the trot! I’m sure somebody once told me that life would get quieter when I retired. Wrong!
