Sad Day

It was the funeral of a dear friend today. A sad day for several reasons, not all of them directly related to the funeral.
A hard workout in the gym this evening has helped, but I find myself in a reflective mood this evening.
The only photo I took all day was of the glorious view from the function room at Carus Green, where we went after the funeral to remember and reminisce about the good times. A reminder that no matter how bad things can seem, there is always some joy to be had from the natural world around us.
