Christmas Dinner

M and I had to cancel our annual pre-Christmas dinner at Morston Hall last year as M went down with a cold. So we rearranged it and tonight was the night.

This was the vegetable course, a rather tasty asparagus tart, with a confit duck egg and asparagus filling. Very delicious it was too.

There have been a few changes since we were there last. I think they are trying to aim at a younger clientele. The one thing we weren’t so keen on was pop music playing in the background. Although we liked the playlist we didn’t really want to listen to it while we were dining.

Maybe we’re getting old!
