Busy day

Up early prepping fish pie, bakewell tart and lemon drizzle.  Sometime I wonder why we just don't go out to eat.  However P&P (H's parents) loved the house and garden and lunch and we sat in the garden in the sunshine and chatted and laughed.  They are over visiting for a few days but being slightly older they are a bit set in their ways and went home around 4.30 as they like an afternoon nap!

No.2's friend M arrived with A and baby Freddie.  He was the star of the show and a sweetie.  No.2 not ready yet but it might be on the cards in a few years time?

No. 2 and OH watched the game at 5.30 but sadly their team lost (first time for a long time) and they didn't get automatic promotion.  OH had bad headache so snoozed in the conservatory and I watched a few more episodes of HT.  Getting darker and darker...........where does it remind me of?
