Afternoon get-together

A small family party in Josh and Ruth's garden: their aunt Anne - their Dad's sister - is here for a few days, with other family members. It's her 80th birthday soon and this is part of the celebrations.
Today's photo should really be one of Anne. But there wasn't a good moment, and on the other hand, there was a very nice moment with Simone and Luca on the slide in J and R's neighbour's garden (Josh on hand in case of any mishaps).
In fact there was a slight mishap just after this moment. Luca wanted to go down the slide, and thought he could squeeze past Simone, who was more interested in holding a football at the time (which she had previously been rolling down the slide). So there was a bit of jostling. Josh intervened, to tell Luca to be more careful with Simone. L didn't respond well to this, probably having no idea what he was really doing wrong. Josh lifted him off the slide to get him to calm down and listen. Soon after, a big tantrum followed.
Just one of those tired, end-of-the-afternoon clashes (the adults probably being as tired as some of the kids were).
Later I texted Ruth to see how Luca was. He was fine; Ruth had taken him out for a little walk on his own, and the one-to-one time was very helpful.
And Anne - despite the lack of a photographic record - had a lovely relaxed afternoon.
